Sodus Bay

The late sunrise over the launch reminds us that fall is in the air. The chilly conditions this morning certainly reminded us of that. Temperatures in the low 50s made it feel more like fall than late August.

Throughout the day, temperatures quickly rose and were close to 80 by weigh in. To assure safety to all anglers participating, we waited to launch at 6:30am when the sun peeked over the horizon. Everyone was due back at 1:30pm to start with the weigh-ins.

How did JJ do it, you might ask? After we launched, JJ went out on Lake Ontario and drop shot in 25 feet of water. He later ran back into Sodus bay and continued to fish a wacky rigged green pumpkin drop shot in about 11 feet of water. Great job JJ, and congratulations.
