Day one of our classic brought rain, wind, and chilly weather. Take off was postponed one hour while we decided if we wanted to fish due the forecast for rough waters. We decided to stay and fish on. We launched at 8am and weighed in at 2pm at Bill Saiff’s Outdoor West View Lodge. Tom Church had a strong day one with over 18lbs of bass. However, a strong day two by Jeff Botting would lift him to the top spot.

Kevin Schneider would weigh in 12.72lbs on day 1.

Dick Hyde had a great day one weighing in over 15lbs. John Woods would weigh in 7.97lbs on the first day.

Jeff Botting would weigh in three fish that went for 11.70lbs on day 1.

Tom Church was the day one leader weighing in at 18.16lbs.

Big Bass of day 1 was Dick Hyde with a 5.13lbs smallmouth bass. The big bass award is provided by Bass Pro Shops in Auburn

Day 2 was about to begin and it brought with it some breaks of sun, no rain, and very rough waters.

John Woods would weigh in 10.84lbs on the final day. John had a great year and is the Good Ole Boys Co-Angler of the year. Great job, John!

Anthony Talarico would weigh in a 5 bass limit, all largemouth on the final day.

Tom Church would weigh in a little over 10lbs on the final day.

Mike Dixon had a very strong day weighing in 19.06lbs of smallmouth.

Jeff Botting had a strong day as well weighing in 20.20lbs of smallmouth including a 5.53lbs lunker.

That smallmouth would give Jeff big bass of day 2. Big bass is provided by Bass Pro Shops in Auburn. 

Kevin Schneider would finish in 10th place with 12.72lbs.

Fred Blom would finish in 9th place with a weight of 14.19lbs.

Jake Wilson would take 8th place with 15.94lbs.

Dick Hyde would finish in 7th place with 18.24lbs.

Anthony Talarico took 6th place overall with 18.35lbs of largemouth.

JJ Elmer would take 5th place with 18.59lbs.

John Woods would finish the tournament in 4th place with 18.81lbs.

Mike Dixon would finish in 3rd place overall with 27.83lbs.

Tom Church finished in 2nd place with a weight of 28.37lbs.

Jeff Botting would take first place after his big second day. His final weight was 31.90lbs. Great job, Jeff and thanks to all who came out and fished with us. It was a great year and we hope to see everyone next year!
