Early Bird Tournament at Chaumont Bay – 9/22/18

The clubs final tournament of the season took place on September 22nd at Chaumont Bay.  This Early Bird Tournament is the first point tournament for next season.  Anglers were greeted with air temperatures in the low 50's after a cold front blew through the evening before.  They were also facing a 10-15 mph North wind, which made running out of the a questionable decision.  Kevin Continue reading the story "Early Bird Tournament at Chaumont Bay – 9/22/18"

2018 GOB Club Classic – Oneida and Onondaga Lakes – Sept. 8 & 9

The clubs end of the season Classic took place on Oneida Lake and Oneida River. Port Bay 8/26/18

The last points tournament of the season took place at Port Bay, an bay on the south side of Lake Ontario.  This was a team event where the top boater and the co-angler lowest in points were teamed up.  The 2nd place boater with the co-angler the 2nd lowest points, and so on until all participating anglers were teamed up.  The day started off overcast Continue reading the story "Port Bay 8/26/18"

Sandy Pond August 5th 2018

Today the club took on the waters of Sandy Pond, NY. We were greeted with lots of sun and a breeze that helped with the air temperature, which was in the high 80's when finished. Water temps in high 70's. Sounded like most of the fish were caught in 4-8 feet of water, around weeds.
