2012 Fish Line Recycling Program
As the year comes to a close, we are happy to report that we recovered 3 pounds and 15 ounces of fish line at 18 locations.
3 lbs. and 15 oz. of fish line.
This line was sent to Berkley to be made into fishing habitat. A one (1) lb. spool of 10 lb. fishing line is approx. 10,000 yards in length. Besides recovering fishing line we also removed 40 bags of trash and recyclables from these sites.
We plan on continuing this program for years to come
