Sandy Pond was our playing field for our first points event of the year. Sandy Pond is a small bay off Lake Ontario about an hour north of Syracuse.

The rainy and cloudy conditions didn’t stop TJ Church from weighing in over 14 pounds to take the win!

 

Just out of the money was Ron V with 9.87lbs! Big thanks to Bass Pro Shops in Auburn who provided Ron with a gift card for his efforts!

Bill Peck was all smiles as he weighed in 9.88lbs which was enough to take 5th place today!

Tom Church would weigh in 12.74lbs on this rainy day, which put him in the 4th spot today.

Andy Sanefski would weigh in just shy of 13lbs today with a 12.99lbs bag anchored by a 4.66lbs largemouth. Which would be our big bass of this tournament! Way to go, Andy.

Mike Merz would crack the 14lbs mark with 14.11lbs for 5 fish. Mikes big bass was 4.49lbs!

Congratulations to TJ Church!! TJ weighed in 14.71lbs of bass to take first place on Sandy Pond. With this win, TJ takes the Angler of the Year lead. Great going tj!!
