Onondaga Lake Tournament

As the summer begins to wind down towards Labor Day, the race for angler of the year still continues. Today we are fishing on Onondaga Lake which is near the City of Syracuse.
We launch out of the Onondaga County Marina and head out onto the lake for a briefing. It is a fine day with the temperatures starting out in the mid 60’s, skies partial cloudy. Fishing was going to be tough, there was another club also fishing today on the lake, that coupled with a recent change in the weather meant that it was anyone’s game.TTour
Tournament Director Don Bell goes over all of the safety rules before we take off fishing. Kill switches and live wells are checked by the last boat in the take off,

After fishing 7 hrs., the boaters and their co-anglers return. The weigh-in process begins.
