On Sunday August 21 the #Goodoleboysbassclub held their annual team tournament out of Mexico Point boat launch. The morning started off with calm winds and clear skies, but that didn’t last. The rain came in around 8:15 and it came down very hard at times. The rain gear stayed on right up until it was time to get off the water. The teams brought some nice bags to the scales!! The team of Chris Sperling and Jack Wilson brought the top 5 fish limit to the scales – 22.68 pounds. Their bag was anchored by a 5.40 big bass of the tournament. Don Bell and John Woods found themselves in 2n Place with 21.34. The team of Dixon and Bacon had a limit that totaled 19.36. Jimmy Loomis and Jon Metot took the The Good Guys Barber Shop “Just Out Of The Money” with 17.75.
