Skaneateles Lake

Sunday Sept. 16th 2007

Another great day to go fishing.

Morning Dawns

Again this year we launched out of State Launch off route 41-A.

Jack Loughery and Frank Doll

Chad Acome and  John Nye

Garrett Kinney show off a nice 2 plus pound bass.

Fishing on Skaneateles Lake is very exciting. There a LOTS of smallmouth bass in the 1 - 2 pound range, plus you never know when that BIG one will hit.

Tom Hudson and Guy Cromp

Dick Hyde and Brooks Wright.

We fished until 2:00 pm, and then weighed in our fish.

Ready to weigh fish.

Line up with weigh bags, ready to weight our fish.

Dick Hyde awards the "just out of the money" award to Chris French.

The Bass Pro store in Auburn has generously donated IM8 Graphic rods to be awarded to the angler that finishes just out of the money (6th place) each week. This week Chris French gets the rod.

After all the fish are entered and released alive, the awarding of prize money takes place.

Tom Hudson takes 5th place.

         Ryan Smith takes 4th place.

Brook Wright takes 3rd place

  Chad Acome takes 2nd place

And first place goes to Bill Kays with 5 fish weighing in at 10.22 pounds. A average weight for tournament fishing on Skaneateles Lake.

And first place goes to Bill Kays

Congratulations Bill, Your "top rod" again this week.

Bill shows off his big bass, a 5.00 pound Smallmouth.
