2010 Earth Day clean up

On Saturday, April 17th OCRRA held their earth day clean up around Onondaga County.  Our club was one of many participants that took part.  We cleaned up along the west end of Oak Orchard Road in the Town of Clay. We chose this area because the area us used by shore fisherman.  We clean up where mud creek goes under Oak Orchard up to where the creek out of the old gravel pit flows into the river.

We had 6 members of our senior club plus help from our junior club members. The day was windy and wet, but the work got done anyway.

Connell is busy in the brush.

Tom, Jack and Paul take a break next to some of the trash.

Paul is bundled up against the weather.

Vern and Devin along the river.

Devin found part of a TV

Paul and Tom with two bags of trash.

When all was done we had collected 12 bags of trash, 4 tires, one TV, and a toilet.
