Bass Pro Fishing Classic

April 26th, 27th, and

March 1st, 2nd, 8th, & 9th, 2008

Again this year, we were asked to be one of the exhibitors' at the Bass Pro fishing classic at the Bass Pro Store in Auburn, NY. We attended the show for all three weekends.

While there, we sell raffle tickets for $1.00 each to raise money for different events that our club sponsors.

The tackle box was FULL of lures. We figured that were was approx. $800.00 of tackle in it, including two $50.00 Bass Pro gift cards.

At 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, the winning ticket was drawn, and the winner is Ted McCormick from Auburn. Lance Barnes called Ted on his cell phone right after his ticket was drawn, and Ted being so close chose to come to the store to pick up his tackle box.

It took Ted about 10 minutes to showed up with his young son and his wife.

The winner, Ted McCormick is congratulated by Lance Barnes, and takes his tackle box and goodies home.

Please look for us next year as hopefully Bass Pro will again ask us to attend. It will be our 5th year.
